I learned about Liv through a friend who’s got a fascination over g-spot vibrators. I heard about her experiences with it and was convinced to try it out for myself.
-
Pros
- Sleek and ergonomic design
- Rechargeable
- Made of silicone
- Multifunction and multispeed
- Discreet and quiet
-
Cons
- Expensive
- Not waterproof
- The shaft can get slippery when coated with lubricant
I purchased it online and started using it about four months ago and I still am happily satisfied with it until now. This sleek g-spot vibe from Lelo can be a great addition to your toy box, especially if you’re a fan of Lelo. The slightly curved shaft as well the powerful vibration that this toy delivers jives well and I am satisfied with it. I got the pink one and I just adore the brightness of its color that it even helps lighten up my mood. It’s pretty simple and easy to use. I had no other disappointment with this toy except for the fact that it isn’t waterproof.
BEST USE
Liv comes from Lelo’s line of top quality vibrators. This toy has a slightly angled shaft intended for g-spot stimulation. The same angled shaft can also work for prostate stimulation. Anyone can actually use this toy; whether you’re a man or a woman, alone or with a partner.
MATERIAL AND TEXTURE
Liv is a g-spot vibe made out of both silicone (shaft) and plastic (handle). The shaft has a velvety texture finish, with a bit of drag to it. Use a small amount of silicone lube to lessen the drag, but always make sure that you’d only use water-based lubricants as silicone lubes can be damaging to the silicone content of your toy. The body is smooth and seamless. It doesn’t have any grooves or bulges along the shaft, but that’s just okay because the smoothness of the shaft and the strong vibration intensity is already satisfying enough.
SIZE, SHAPE AND DESIGN
This toy is pretty sleek and it has a slightly angled shape meant to stimulate the g-spot or p-spot. It’s not a girthy toy. I assume the diameter was only a little over an inch, while the insertable part was not more than five inches. This makes it easy to insert even when used anally. I tried to insert to my anus once and I did not have any difficulties at all. It’s not a discreet toy and anyone will know what it is meant for if you leave on the table or the couch, where the public eyes can feast on it. If you’re planning to carry it with you when you’re travelling, secure it in a pouch or a box.
FUNCTIONS, PERFORMANCE AND CONTROLS
Liv does have a quadrant control button located at the base. It has an up, down, right and left button used to turn the vibe on/off and the same time cycle through the different patterns and speed levels. By the way, this toy has five different patterns and seven vibration speeds. The vibration intensity is strong enough for me and it’s pretty quiet compared to other powerful toys. It’s a rechargeable toy so you don’t have to worry about battery replacements. Charging Liv for 2 hours can deliver 4 hours of playtime. It’s disappointing that this toy is not waterproof. I was hoping to bring it with me in the shower.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Silicone toys are very easy to care for. However, you need to consider that Liv is not a waterproof toy, so you can’t just toss it in a pot of boiling water for sterilization. What you can so instead is to wipe it down with a bleaching solution to ensure its sterility. Only use water-based lubes with this toy, as silicone lubes may have a bad effect on it. After cleaning, keep it in a clean and dry storage box. Also, never combine it with other silicone-made toys.
PACKAGING
Liv came in a standard Lelo box. I got mine in pink which is the same color as the Liv that I ordered. Each of the pieces inside the box was wrapped in a thin plastic which includes the charger, the user manual, a silk pouch and the toy itself. The box looked pretty discreet and even elegant looking in my opinion. It doesn’t have any photos and designs, expect for the small print written on top of it that says LELO.
EXPERIENCE:
I had fun using my Liv and experimenting with it was such as nice experience. I tried using it to stimulate my nipples, clitoris, anus and g-spot, and it worked fine. Using it anally was pretty easy. I did not feel any pain or discomforts at all. Let me just say that it was comfortable enough for me, but my friend who also owns a Liv did not feel the same way. She felt that it was a little thick for anal stimulation, maybe because she wasn’t really used to anal plays. The vibration intensity was also strong enough for me. I like that it had quite a few patterns to choose from.
