When I was first starting off with vibrators, the Evolved Lavish was my absolutely favorite vibrator. I loved how
well it could work for both g-spot use and for external use too. Now that I've collected more toys, it's not quite
my *absolute* favorite anymore, but it still ranks up there as one of those toys that I use regularly. It's just a
really good vibrator!
I find that I really like the Duo Obsessions Lavish most for its external vibrator capabilities. It certainly can
work as a g-spot vibrator, but it's almost a bit too large for me to like to insert it all of the time. For those
that love larger toys and slightly-larger-than-the-average-penis sizes, though, the size of the Evolved Lavish and
its g-spot ability should be fantastic for them.
MATERIAL AND TEXTURE
The Evolved Lavish is made completely out of plastic which makes it really nice and smooth. The seams can not be
felt with your hands or during use, and I really love that it's made from plastic. Why? Well, the plastic means that
the vibrations transfer through really, really strongly. Softer materials like silicone sometimes soften vibrations,
but the plastic makes sure I get all of the strength which is exactly what I want. Not only this, but the rigidity
of the plastic means that it really holds up firm against the g-spot and doesn't give under pressure. As I like lots
of pressure for g-spot play, this is perfect for me. Plus, the plastic is really smooth, so it doesn't really take
much lubricant to make it a perfect and comfortable fit.
SIZE, SHAPE, and DESIGN
The Lavish is about seven and a half inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half. I must admit that I
find this diameter and size to be a bit girthier than I would normally prefer my vibrators. When I do choose to get
the warm-up to it, the size definitely feels good, but it's not something I insert on a regular basis. However, I do
still use it on a regular basis, but I mostly use it for its vibration features. The shape of the g-spot head makes
it really easy to get pinpoint stimulation exactly where I want it while the large length of the vibrator makes it
easy to grip onto it while using it.
FUNCTIONS, PERFORMANCE, AND CONTROLS
One of the things I like the most about the Evolved Lavish is the fact that it has two pretty powerful motors.
There's a motor near the tip of the vibrator and there's a a motor towards the center of the vibrator (where the
vaginal entrance would be if you have the vibrator inserted). The power is pretty intense, and the vibrations are
pretty rumbly and seem to go "deep" under the skin instead of being buzzy and on the surface. The vibrations are
moderately loud, but as I don't need to have discretion, this doesn't bother me.
The Evolved Lavish does take four AAA batteries. There is a slide-out battery tray that takes the batteries, and
it makes it very easy to slip in the four batteries. That's a lot of batteries, but when it comes to power, it
definitely shows! The Lavish has a very good chunk of power, and it's stronger than a lot of my other vibrators when
both motors are turned on and running.
I love how easy the Lavish is to use too. There's the dedicated on/off button which makes it really easy to turn
off in a hurry. Along with that, there's the two seperate control buttons which means I can choose if I want both
motors on or just one motor on depending on how I feel and how I'm using it. If you ever want to travel with it, you
can easily just remove the batteries so it won't turn on, and the batteries seem to last a long time in the
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
I love that this vibrator has the nice, plastic material. It makes it really silk and smooth, and that makes it
really, really easy to clean. I clean my Evolved Lavish by using a damp washcloth and wiping it down with warm water
and antibacterial soap. It's a pretty girthy toy, but it still fits into an average condom for protection if you
want to use it with someone else. It's also compatible with all types of lubricant, so I can use both water-based
and silicone-based lubricant on it. The plastic material is also really nice because it doesn't pick up hair or
lint. This means that I don't have to worry too much about where I store it since it pretty much can be stored
Evolved sex toys always impress me with their packaging, and the Duo Obsessions Lavish is no exception. It comes
in a tin that includes a plastic lid. This plastic lid has two "handles" that flip off of the lid and allow the lid
to be easily taken off. The case looks really beautiful, and it'd make a good gift in its packaging. The plastic
tray that holds the vibrator can be removed too, and with that, you could use the packaging to store other items. It
easily stores the vibrator too, and it does a good job of protecting it.
The Lavish vibrator does really well for me. When I feel like a g-spot toy, it does a pretty decent job, and when
I feel like a clitoral toy, it also works for that. It's really easy to use, and it's so straight-forward that I can
easily use it when I'm tired too. The vibrations are strong enough to keep me happy, and it's a sex toy that I
